REALTIME FILM FESTIVAL 2016 KICKS OFF TODAY!

The schedule of activities for the this year’s festival is as follows:




Thursday, September 29, 2016:
​

VENUES: SILVERBIRD CINEMAS, IKEJA AND NERDC CONFERENCE CENTRE 

Cocktail / Opening Ceremony- Silverbird Cinemas at Ikeja Mall

The opening film will be screening between 9.00am and 12.00 noon after which more films will be shown at the
NERDC Conference Centre, Agindingbi, Ikeja (opposite the African Shrine)
The Masterclasses will also commence on that day.


OPENING FILM: 

SLOW COUNTRY 

(status - WORLD PREMIERE)

directed by Eric Aghimien
Duration: 2 hrs.

A ten minute Q&A session with the cast and crew will follow afterward.




 
Friday, September 30, 2016: 

VENUES: NERDC CONFERENCE CENTRE & AFRICAN SHRINE

More film screenings and continuation of the Masterclasses at the NERDC Conference Centre

In the evening; between 4.30 pm and 7.00 pm there will be a WORLD PREMIERE of the controversial movie “BEHIND THE WHEELS”at the AFRICAN SHRINE leading to the Festival party at the same venue.

VENUES: NERDC CONFERENCE CENTRE & AFRICAN SHRINE

Movie Screenings will continue at the NERDC Conference Centre, Agidingbi (near the African Shrine)

and there will be an after party at the Shrine afterwards.

VENUES: NERDC CONFERENCE CENTER & THE SUMMIT EVENT CENTER 

Festival Awards Night and showcase of the festival closing feature Film
at the SUMMIT Event Center (beside African Shrine)

CLOSING FILM:

(status - NIGERIAN PREMIERE)


directed by Tokunbo Isioro Jaboro
Duration: 1 hrs 34 minutes.

A ten minute Q&A session with the cast and crew will follow afterward.


 (Red Carpet and cocktail will hold from 5.00 pm – 6.00 pm)
(Screening of the closing film will hold between 6.20 pm and 8.05 pm)
(Awards Presentation will take place between 8.10 pm and 9.00 pm)
