RTF PARTNERED WITH THE ORGANIZERS OF THE WORLD TRAILER AWARDS
RTF PARTNERED WITH STORYAGENT
RTF has been chosen by Storyagent to be their official representative in Africa. Storyagent is a UK-based blockchain-protected platform, built to help screenwriters meet Producers, who might be interested in their work. Do you have a screenplay you're looking to produce? Upload it to Storyagent, and they'll make sure producers worldwide get to see, evaluate, and possibly option it for production. No agent is needed! Better still, your project will be IP protected through Blockchain.
"World's first re-imagined annual live film festival, remodeled and executed as an online event, during the COVID-19 lock-down"!
RTF 2021 OFFICIAL SELECTION
While other festivals resolved to cancelling their schedules because of the corona virus pandemic, we were prompted to revisit the founding principles of our festival "...to be TECHNOLOGY-DRIVEN, and "REMOTELY ACCESSIBLE". The maiden #RTF2020 ONLINE Remote Access Edition was a huge success. Another innovation, another "FIRST" by RTF.
From inception, our vision was “to build a truly International, all - inclusive and remotely accessible Film Festival”.
Our corporate VISION reads: “to become the most acclaimed technology – driven, remotely accessible Festival in Africa with a keen interest in Cultural & Creative Arts".
Our MISSION is to champion an Artistic baseline where equity and openness is enhanced among Creative Artists, Filmmakers & Film Enthusiasts; in other words, a platform "Where everyone feels equal"

Ope Adewale joined the festival team last year as a volunteer, and was in charge of registrations at the front desk. This year, she takes up a new position as the Head of Programs. She will also lead the team that will execute the one-day panoptic edition on December 3rd, 2020.
RECENT ACTIVITIES
This year marks our fifth outing as a Festival, and we have decided to emphasize on "accessibility", continuing with our mantra of being Ice-Warm, with "ICE" connoting "INCLUSIVENESS, COLLABORATION & EQUITY". Our 2020 Festival Theme is "ACE".
In the light of this, RTF is going full PANOPTIC to celebrate our fifth anniversary, and this will necessitate a long-lasting focus on people with disability - the blind, deaf, crippled, people living with autism, down syndrome, and other disabilities.
As we go Full Panoptic, we are determined to play our role in fulfilling the 2030 Agenda of the UNDP:
"Leave no person with disabilities behind".

OUR IMPACT HEADLINERS
OUR MOST RECENT TRAINING / WORKSHOP
In December of 2019, we hosted Hollywood Actor / Director MOROCCO OMARI in Lagos - Nigeria.
He trained over 500 industry professionals in two days. Each year, RTF places pertinent emphasis on capacity building through its workshops, seminars, and advantage sessions, which are often practical-oriented. This is how RTF thrives, through partnerships.
RTF relies on partnership and collaboration to thrive. Over the years we have enjoyed support from various entities including Cinemas, Hotels, Restaurants, Event Centres, and TV/Radio Companies who have offered media partnerships to give us mileage and visibility. Our brand has been established through the support of these entities.
The responsibility of hosting each edition of the festival, however, rests on a team of relentless people who work voluntarily to curate unforgettable experiences. These experiences have shaped the perception of RTF through the years.
From those who came on board to activate our very first edition in 2016, to many others who have come on board in subsequent years, RTF owes its success to each and every team member who has volunteered their time and intellect to the building of this amazing festival that is curated by filmmakers, for filmmakers!

On May 27th 2019 (Children's day), the Realtime International Film Festival (RTF) in partnership with SPAR, hosted a Kids Experience session in a family - oriented
