Film is a Universal Social Language, and that is what the Real-Time Film Festival is all about.Socially relevant films can drive Social Change and start progressive conversations. Such films will be screened, then the panelists will highlight how Movies have helped to shape the world.
Sequel to the screening of movies, a Q&A Session will be moderated with the Directors of the films. Social media will be used in “Breaking Time-Space barriers” by deploying remote participation via social networking tools like Skype. The next generation of filmmakers will then share the spotlight as we screen movies from around the world, made by kids (Aged 7 – 14) – one of RTF’S novelties.
The event will feature a panel discussion, and demonstration of effective P&A activation using social media tools. Attendees will be exposed to best practices for Art House Film Makers – financing, co – production, marketing, distribution and exploitation via social media for commercial viability.
Lastly, the paths to creative collaboration between Live Action Film Makers and other Creative Artists such as Illustrators, comic artists and animators will be discussed. Finally, our draft for a timely and socially viable Insurance Policy for Nollywood will be unveiled.
Certificates of attendance will be issued to attendees.
We have plans to start a strategic integration of brilliant creative guys from all across Africa, into the fast evolving Live Action Motion Picture Industry.
There are countless talents in Nigeria for instance, who do exceptional Illustrations, Comic and Animations.
Our goal is to get started with the introductions first, and eventually form collaborations that will produce world class content, executed entirely by home grown Talents.
